Psst! If you missed out on Love Food Fest two weeks ago, here’s your chance to redeem yourself: The 20th Anniversary of Willow’s Eat to the Beat is here. Happening on Tuesday, October 27, 7pm at Roy Thomson Hall, this annual culinary and fundraiser event will feature a ton of food creations by 60 top female chefs, in support of Willow Breast & Hereditary Support—a not-for-profit organization that offers free peer support to anyone (this includes family of the victims) coping with breast cancer. Here are some photos from last year to get your inner foodie excited:
As this year marks a milestone for Willow, you can expect to try even better dishes than last year and more extravagant food-inspired costumes (made by breast cancer survivors).
“Willow’s role in a person’s journey with breast cancer and other hereditary forms of cancer is undeniably important in making sure caring and compassionate support and valuable information is there when they need it most,” states Karen Malone, Executive Director of Willow Breast & Hereditary Cancer Support.
Tickets are $175 (with a tax receipt) and includes ALL food and beverages. Please visit www.eattothebeat.ca to purchase tickets and details. For more info on Willow Breast & Hereditary Support, please visit www.willow.org .
So be there or be left feeling #FOMO. Your heart and your appetite will not be disappointed.
